Do you need a modeling program for geosets?

This is a newb question, but do you need a modeling program for geoset merging? Can you just do it in word pad? Ive been trying and no matter how many tutorials i look at, i cant do it!

Yes and no. Although technically it is possible realistically u wouldnt be able to. you see, if u wanted to do a headswap, u would have to line up the new head with the old neck and without a visual modelling program u cannot do that.

3D Studio Max 4.2
Wacraft 3 Viewer (By the prophet)
WinMPQ
Kdubb's importer/exporter
Adobe Photoshop 7, Corel photopaint 10 (For skinning)

That is all you need to make good quality models.
Don't ask me for warez or programs as I don't supply them.

where can i get kdubb's importer/exporter???

How? Ive been trying forever to do it! What do i have to do? Im loosing my mind!

If you search the forum for "Kdub" you will find a thread with about 168 replies created by him.. The link is in there somehwere.. and what a quest it is looking for it.
