POLL: How many players for Diablo III

I am making a Diablo III game, and I would like to know how many players there should be. Post comments about the game or ideas in the link in my sig.

Why can't you make a long 4 player storyline? It isn't that hard... and <('')> I am going to personally kick your ass. You homo spammer.

Its kind of easy to do both, and even a game with 8 players(each act seperate). First, work on the single player campaign, then convert each map into a multiplayer version and try to find out a save and load system for the heroes and quests :)

Save Load Systems are cool. But are incredibly abused

heh, thanks, I need more ideas. I am also thinking of the story and what the quests are going to be, so it won't be a rip-off Diablo 2 game. Also, in the 1 player game, Diablo and Baal are secret characters that can only be used by a password ;) . They won't be in the multi-player veriosn because if one person finds out the password, it ruin's the whole game. Keep up the votings and coments!!! :D

I voted fer 4 players, becouse multiplayer diablo was much more fun than single player.... If u willl be able to catch the old ''diablo'' feel in warcraft map, that would be very sweet :D

Any screenies?.. I don't care i'd play it as long as it's good not like that DiabloEX crap, get a random item and you receive 250 to all stats, piece of crap that is.

As long as you have over several quintillion item combinations, just like D2:LoD.

A quest idea... hmmm, I know one: [Get quest from] a guy name Zeruth. [quest] To get the Dragon Orb from the Dragon cave. [The cave] Lock it and give the player a mini quest to find the key. [mini quest] The gate thats befront the entrence to the cave has a small writing on it and its a riddle [Riddle] "The Key of Dragons lies in the place where its said that the ground is near hell where the fire it spitt tell its really hell, look for the last light shines bright its here the key is in your sight" [meaning] take the key in a place where fires roams and put the key in that place... get a ray of light on it...try to make that when somebody goes in there it becomes night for those in that place. [got the key] now make a quest pop up saying that they need to go back to the gate. [back in the gate] okey the gate must open but here comes alittle cool part... If the player have really make an effort to get this right and suddenly when the player is in he get the orb and he didint do shit in it thats very boring for the one that get the key and such.... now before opening the gate make a system that he can choose who he wants with him in this cave..he just press himself if he wants to go alone.. when he enters then lock the gate again.. now inside the cave make it look dark and creepy..But a buch of creature there...(this is for gold and for items as well as XP so the player(s) can defeat the dragon easyer.. Now make the last boss the dragon...pause the player(s) in the cave and show them a dialog that shows that the dragon says: "What do you want here", the player respond: "To get the Dragon orb", Dragon respond: "that is in me, and only way to get it is to kill me....hahahaha have a nice effort doing so". begin the battle... when battle have finished put the orb out.. then make the quest update telling to return to Zeruth with it....[Back to Zeruth] Now when the player(s) is back then Zeruth says something to him\them and give him\them items and gold... make the bounty bigger if its only one player and minimize it when there are more....

I voted for 4 players because miltiplayer games are WAY better than 1 player games, the more the marrier, that's what they say. Also, make the main boss Tyrael...I've got friends in Blizzard who're working on D3 right now, he's going to be the new threat to the world. He destroyed the worldstone not because IT was corrupted, but because HE was. Hope this tip helps =).

i think you should make it 4 players cause it is alot better to have teamwork and trading and such things rather than just run around and kill monster if ya know what i mean ^_^
