Need Team For New Project

I am looking to assemble a team for a detailed WC3 Mod.
This is a very ambitious project, I do not want to get too far in depth, but I will discuss it a little. Basically a standalone game, but still quite similar to the original game. Like in warcraft, you build an army and defeat your enemies, but in this mod, the AI is more advanced. All units gain experience, and higher ranking units issue commands to their men. Instead of having to control every decision, you issue orders to your generals, who issue orders to their individual group commanders, who deliver orders to your individual units. Because your army is maintaining itself and it's own actions, your control is centered on your hero in a more RPG style manner. Think of secret of mana, with an army supporting your hero. Sounds quite ambitious and I've no idea if it's possible (AI in general has a long way to go), but good luck with it.

Yes I think you may be right. My original idea was too ambitious and I dont know if i even want to bother making anything less that what I had planned. I really wanted to emply a class system like in final fantasy tactics where all your units can gain levels and upgrade classes, but it's not gonna work. that blows.

Well if u spent the time to figure it all otu on paper first, it might work, but you'd need some REALLY dedicated people to put it all together.

i think that it can be done. useing very long and detailed code. its like createing an indevidual mind for 96 wizards and witchs in a hp adventure map.... well,, there not the same difficulty level but the time and effort would be the same.
im just saying that it might be possible but it wont come easy. and as for subbmiting it to blizard i dont know but it must be pretty darn good to be worth the effort. but all in all if it doesnt work and u spend days trying different things you will learn a lot with it.
