THREAD DESCRIPTION: Here is where you can offer enhancements to Wartego. As this is still beta any help is glady accepted. POST GUIDELINES: Only enhancements to the program go here. Anything that is reasonable or not just moronic will be accepted and left here. If you see something you like that someone else posted then say so. If you dont like the suggestion then in a NICE and non flaming way please say so. The best suggestions will be added for the final release. |

I tried to actually open the file but warcraft just rolls up the map screen and then rolls it back down (if you've seen it before you'll know what i mean)... I cant provide information about what ive actually played, but here's my great idea: I was looking at the pictures and i noticed that each battlefield is exactly the same. Same squareness, same two rocks\whatever blocking the middle of the battlefield. boring. Move the blocking things around, make the battlefield bigger, whatever to make it different. I admit i havent played the game and so i might not know, but by changing boundies you can provide interesting strategical opportunites. Ill have to enter some contest (even though i suck at terraining ^_^ ) i want a prize ;) Hope thats helpful. |

How about computer AI?? I don't play on Bnet much anymore and would just like to sit back and play some comps... |

I think you really need to consider doing this like the wc3 chess map, with an observer, multiplayer option. With it being only 1 on 1 it's a somewhat short game, and not many people can play it. Might take alot of work, but i think it would be worth it in the long run. |

johnfn actually made me think of something... what about an option to have some fields blocked by rocks for both sides? Could add some strategic options. And it would be nice if the map had a feature to let more than two people play, more fields so to say, along with tournament options (scores for the players, finals etc). Limitations on turn time like in chess along with handicaps for good players would be nice too. |
