I am running into problems with custom icons.

I use photoshop to create my icons and an overlay template to create the borders etc... I save them 32 bit, (yes they're 64x64) also, created BTNDIS versions of the icons. I convert them to BLP using war3viewer at about 85 quality. Everything seems ok right? Wrong... When I import them and change the paths of the custom icons (replaceabletextures\commandbuttons, replaceabletextures\commandbuttonsdisabled) save and reload my map, the icons still don't show up in the object editor (I can select them, but there is no visiblity of them just a blank spot where the icon should be...). If someone can help me with this I would appreciate it.

I believe the problem lies in the creation in photoshop. I would like to know the pieces involved in photoshop to create an icon. Cudos to the person who can answer this. :D

I have had this problem some times, and i think this is the sollution to ur prob:

You save without alpha channels in some way;

and i think this is the way to solve that: U remove alpha channels, save it, then add alpha channels, and then save it.

Im not really sure but... its worth trying

It sounds like you mean u import, put the icon in its place, then save and reload.

Try saving the map, and then going to where the icon is supposed to be, and select the icon above/below it, then use your mouse wheel or arrow keys to go back to the icon. You *should* see the icon then. Otherwise, I'm at a loss.
