If it's only a skin you want to import to the World Editor (and NOT a home made model), do this: 1. Create a *.blp file with your new/edited skin (convert it from a *.tga file using Photoshop or PSP) 2. Open the Importer in the World Editor and choose “Import 3. Find your *.blp file and open it. The address of your imported *.blp file is something like “war3mapImported\YourSkinNameHere.blp 4. By double-clicking on the file, the menu “Imported File Properties appears 5. Mark the field called “Use custom path and change the address. It is very important that you put the ‘same' skin back in its own address. For instance, if you made a skin, using the skin of a Human Sorceress, the address (in the MPQ file) will be: “Units\Human\Sorceress\Sorceress.blp. After changing your skin (using this skin), you must give it the same address as its custom path. 6. Add a Sorceress (unit) to your map and run it. The sorceress will now wear your skin… ;) Good luck, mate… |
