Seriously, there is a near limitless supply of information and tutorials on Skinning on this sight, and tons of attachments that will show you what programs you will need for it... just look around a bit. |

First of all you need the correct tools. Secondly make sure you have TFT, skinning is MUCH (hehe) easier with TFT's powerful bonus features. Thirdly you will need a Warcraft III image extracting program, so get image extractor II in download section. Extract out the skin in Image extractor and save it as .tga or .jpg because photoshop or paint shop pro cannot edit .blp. Go select some parts of the image and get recoloring (or skinning). Make sure when your satisfied with the skin import it and type the CORRECT path or else it won't work. The skin when you import it via import manager must be a .blp or .tga. |
