I guess I'm a newbie. I want to make it so that when player x leaks, player y [the player who sent the creeps] gets money. The problem is that the amount of money should be dependant on the type of creep - mass swarming creeps give less money than boss type creeps per leak. Is there a shorter way to do this than having a few hundred triggers like Unit 1 If UnitType1 reaches region Plyr1Goal then add 20 gold to Player 2 If UnitType1 reaches region Plyr2Goal then add 20 gold to Player 3 ...... If UnitType1 reaches region Plyr9Goal then add 20 gold to Player 10 If UnitType1 reaches region Plyr10Goal then add 20 gold to Player 1 Unit 2 If UnitType2 reaches region Plyr1Goal then add 40 gold to Player 2 .... ... .. . and so on, 10 per creep, for 65 different creeps.emote_sweat |

ehm u could cut it all down to 1 single action.... u have to edit the point on every single unit, but then u could set it so when a unit enters a region, the owner of that unit get the unit points in gold... just a little fancy idea of mine :D |

The owner? Argh. My creeps are neutral :) Otherwise you'd be able to control them, and stop them all at the spawn location and then flood the enemy with hundreds of creeps later on. I just had an epiphany: If [A Unit] enters Region Plyr1Goal give Player 2 Gold Equal to [Mana of [Triggering Unit]] and so on for the nine other players... this would work, right? */me puts foot in mouth... why do I think of those things after thinking for half an hour and posting a question??* |

yes you could add mana to each unit spawned from each player.. this way you just set the mana value equal to player numbers, and then say add point value of entering unit to Player(ManaInteger) that should be pretty easy to set up :D |
