Alright, I know this has been posted somewhere before... but I've seen posts complaining about how the object editor is too slow and whatnot... Well, the reason the Object editor lags is because of a function almost no one uses: THE BRUSH LIST. soooo, just go to the terrain editor and up on the bar where it says file and edit and whatnot, you should see one drop down menu called Window. Open it up, scroll down to brush list, and deselect it. Voila, no object editor lag. Also, on a lesser note, you can reduce lag in any program by heightening its priority in the processes menu of the Ctrl+Alt+Del screen if you have a newer version of windows, not sure exactly which is the earliest to have this feature. However, if you set priority too high, it could lag MORE rather than LESS, so don't set it too high. How high is too high depends on how fast your computer is. For example, you almost never wanna use Real Time unless you have an uber fast computer or very likely your computer will crash :bgrun: |

Just a note: The Ability to chance priority class starts in win2k. also don't ever use realtime as if war3 crashes on realtime your computer will lockup & u will have to restart your computer not just restart war3 |
