Im sure almost everybody has played either: Lethal Enforcers, Area 51, Time Crisis, Virtural Cop, House of the Death, or some other game where you use the a laser gun to shoot at the screen to kill people. I allready have the programing for a point and click to kill units for war3 and i have the "ducking" system working like there is in time crisis. But before I go and create the entire map, i would like to know, is anybody interested in seeing a map like this? There would also be ammo limits and reloading nessary. Probly not different guns because 1 hit will kill eveything expect the bosses. There will also be a life system (probly be 3 modes, ez med and hard and that will effect the number of lives you get and probly number of spawns in each area)

though its quite easy for the point and click death, the real problem comes with hitting you have to calculate trajectory on the projectile the enemy shoots. Assuming you are always at the center of the screen and also how would you get off the effect that the enemy is firing bullets at you (and please don't say just have some unit stand behind the camera or you'll get creamed in a second as the pathfinding is good enough to always make the enemy aim at you). Also how would you calculate misses? (ONCE Again please don't say I'll give you evasion 30% or whatnot and just use a unit behind the camera).
Though mortar shells may look like bullets. I'd assume you'd use a top down. Ofcourse.

For ammo I guess you'd either go the easy way of making a leaderboard.
All in all looks like some fun work!
