i hate triggers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hi, i wanna make a trigger that a killed hero wil be revived in center of an region. Ive tried it so many times, but every time i start the game and my hero die or from another player the hero dies. So your not going to help him? Guess I will. Recently I started my first map and EXPLORED the editiors, I have coded for half life before using C++ so Triggers is no where near as difficult,which is good. Basicly the thing about triggers I like is the GUI interface that makes it so easy you dont need to type everything out. Anyway, on my Race Tournaments map, Each player has there own training area, and when they die they need to respawn to that training area. So I make a trigger for each player. REQUIREMENTS: A Hero to be revived, A region named "Red Spawn" where you want player 1 <Red>'s hero to spawn. Okay, Make a new catagory. Name it Hero Revive. Inside it make a new Trigger name it Red Dies. Events: Unit - A unit owned by Player 1 (Red) Dies Conditions: ((Triggering unit) is A Hero) Equal to True (Owner of (Dying unit)) Equal to Player 1 (Red) Actions: If ((Owner of (Triggering unit)) is in Player Group - Player 1 (Red)) Equal to True) then do (Unit - Move(Triggering unit) instantly to (Center of Red Spawn <gen>)) else do Nothing Wait - 2.00 Seconds Camera - Pan camera for Player 1 (Red) to (Center of Red Spawn <gen>) over 1.00 seconds Hero - instantly revive (Dying unit) at (Position of (Dying unit)), show Revival Graphics Unit - Set mana of (triggering unit) to 100% ---------------------------------------------------- NOTE, This is a snippet of my hero revive code, you may want to change it. In the original I need more conditions and actions incase a tournament is running and I use text messages that say the name of the player got killed by name of the killer. |

thanks but now i have my second problem!!!! i test the my game with 12 players online. And a friend of me died but he didnt revived. Later i died and i revived. than i died for the second thime and i didnt revived. somethimes my hero wil be revived and somethimes not. damn what must i do??????????????????????// |

good one for a campaign like rexxar's condition: hero belonging to (player) dies action: wait (reasonable amount of time) i think there's a revive hero trigger here |
