From John Drake: Ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of the Realm Design team, I am proud to present... Warcraft III -The Dawn of Chaos - Human Demo ![]() This demo is the result of four months of constant vigilant work by the members of Realm Design, who tirelessly toiled at producing something that the fans of this total conversion could actually play for themselves. It is the first glance at the world of the first Great War that the public have been granted since Warcraft : Orcs and Humans was released in 1995. We are fully confident that the product we have placed before you is representative of the skills of our team. First, it is solid evidence of the superior level of dedication and ability that our staff are willing to put forth for the completion of this project. Second, it provides all of you, our fans and friends, with a chance to get a glimpse at the rich and detailed world we have begun to bring to life. Finally, it grants you all a chance to see the true power of Warcraft III, as this demo is a total conversion that merits the title. Almost every aspect of the game has been changed to reflect its almost ancient predecessor, and those who play it might hardly recognize the echoes of the original engine. The demo contains new skins, models, sound files, music files, voice acting, terrain art, system art, console art, icons, screens, etc. and is so far the most ambitious project to actually produce hard evidence of progress. As a result, we of Realm Design are swelling with pride at the worksmanship we have displayed and hope that you will enjoy what has been a labour of love and shall continue to be so until we make our final release, far in the future. We sincerely hope that you will take the time to immerse yourself in the experience of Warcraft I as represented by Warcraft III - Dawn of Chaos in this single-player human demo. The link below will provide you with a download for the main file - it is about 38 megabytes in size, but definitely well worth the download. Please take the time to review carefully the documentation provided in the README.txt file included in the archive file. Warcraft III - The Dawn of Chaos DOWNLOAD! Guys i must say this; GREAT WORK! The demo was really fun and i really enjoyed it. However, here is some things that could raise the level of the demo, even higher. 1) Music - the music was really annoying, i had to turn of my sound course of it 2) The voice acting of the main character (can't remeber his name) was way to brutish, he sounded like an orc. And i newer uderstood that the peasent, footman and the hero, all had the same sound set? 3)I really dont think the original trees fits into your total converstion, i donnu why, i would recommend that you reskin them. But in overal i loved it, really awesome! edit: please fix that got damn lag! edit |

very good! i love all the new features. the models are great, too, but when the hero breathes, he breathes very heavily and he seems to get bigger when he takes in air. overall a stunning display of warcraft III's capabilities! |

Is it just me, or are the voices really blurry? Anyways, I loved the part where the spearman kills the child. Well, the child deserved it... right? :ggani: |
