Wild West Campaign

I have an idea for a campaign with a frontier theme. At first the idea came to me after watching 'the good the bad and the ugly' and 'american outlaws'. After thinking about how it could be done i realized it would take to much time and effort to make models of cowboys and indians and all. So I thought up another idea with the same sort of theme. A western scenario with the same tech as is seen in warcraft. This would of course include trains (team tanks lined up ;) ), rifles etc. I'll give the basic story line for the campaign.

A bounty hunter (you) is on the trail of a $20 000 bounty head, he leads a gang of train robbers that have plagued the eastern states for months. As you band investigate the group you find that there are far more factions involved that take part in far more than simple train robberies. After a few small bounties that are slowly getting you closer to the gang leader the roles are switched. You've been framed as the ellusive gang leader and now have to contend with not only the enemies but the law and other bounty hunters as well. The only way to clear your name is to find the gang leader and bring him to justice.

yeah it's taccy as hell but I'll fine tune it making it more western and more realistic. Basically your a bounty hunter on the trail of a huge ass bounty in a baron land.

I am aware these ideas often fall on deaf ears but hopefully there will be enough of you interested to make it happen. I can cover most aspects of the map but I could really use some people skilled in the following trades.

Modeler 1 or 2, it will be very helpful to be able to edit models to fit the theme a bit better.

Terrain artist 1, very important. I can do terrain but not as well as I would like for this.

Skinners 2-3 Some good skinners are needed as there will be a lot of skinning (ponchos all the way :P)

That's it. I hope it grabs some interest because I think it would be great.

I dont know. It sounds like a good idea, but not for WarCraft, I think. And it would require awfully lot of work. Lot of models and skinning (mayby a new tileset), mayby you should start this project with another editor. But idea is good :)

And the Good, Bad and Ugly is a one damn good movie!
