I was working on my map and i decided to myself that i would like a sort of custom camera thing. My idea is that pressing left rotates the camera left, right rotates the camera right, up zooms in and down zooms out. DON'T STEAL!!! Anyway i'm having problems with the camera. When i set it up to go left like so: Events: Player 1 presses the Left Arrow Key Actions: Rotate Camera 10 degrees around (target of(current camera)) over 0.5 seconds But the problem with that is the rotation does not stack, meaning i cant hold down the left arrow key and have it go around 20 degrees instead of 10. (or hold and release and hold again). It just resets. Im a n00b to camera's, so does someone want to help me out? thanks. |

make a variable. then every time you press left you add +10 to that variable, then you say "rotate __variable degrees" to the evil god of warcraft and hope she gets happy |

urgh... thats so obvious, i cant believe i missed that. I should of known, i probably just thought there was an ezr way. Can you help me with something else, though? I mentioned that after i rotate, i cant move the game camera at all (or did i?) When i move the mouse to the right end of the screen, the game camera wont move. Nor when i move on the mini map. Does someone know why this happens/how i fix it? thanks again |

If your camera is locked to a unit, you cant shift the camera. You'd have to unlock it to do that. |
