I got no reason to come to the terrain gallery. I terrain but Beam, PhoneixVII & PhoneixVI just runover my terrain and everyone ignores mine.:( Well, whatever I might come back if their a terrain contest, but thats it. Peace.:saddened: |

There's plenty reason to post here. Just because there are others better than you doesn't mean that you just pack up and go. You can always ask for and give advice. You can critique other people's stuff, and get critiques from other people. Terraining isn't a big competition to see who's better. I do it for fun. If there's other people better than me, that's cool, I can try out their ideas and improve my stuff with it. People worse than me, that's cool too, I can help them out. You can do the same thing. |

Well one thing thats good if you're not the best is: You can learn from the better terrainers. And for those who dont like critism: Its good for you because you can learn from them, too. ;) or you are as stupid as me, if so.. there's no hope and you can't learn anything ;) (joke) |

Never Give Up! Never Surrender! Even if you're not as good as the super-pros, keep at it and eventually you'll get some good recognition! I know what it's like too but don't quit! :D |

I have never even seen your work..i mean pheonix and beams work is outstanding but just because they are really good(maybe better then you) doesnt mean you should leave..just keep terrianing..dont quit |

im sure your terrain is good. dont give into beam and pheonixVI. i mean they r so good at terraining im starting to believe they arnt even human. ^_^ |

Now, If you only whant to show your work you can do it at almost any gallery around the web, but this is a forum. Meaning this isent just a place to show your work but also Improve it. Those comments you get on your terraining does actually help you to Improve. Still, The best way to make good terrain is to have fun. becouse as s long as you are having fun you vont consider it a work and search out whatever can make you even better. leaving this place is the same as giving up terraining at all, I guess thats not realy what you whant. The best tip I got for you.. Steal if you see some made some nice terrain and you think you could do it better, or just have fun trying. DO IT. Steal as much teqnicues you like as no1 realy got copyrights on them. Things that looks cool will add too your terraining skillz. So start Improving. I (and probably a lot more people )always will untill there is only the limits of wc3 that binds us. maybe I should start model editing ^_^ Anyway, Stay ! :D |
