Question about Blight Placement Ability

Blight placement is the ability that the Sacraficial skull has, so that you can create blight anywhere...
I want to turn this into a spell that a unit can use, not just an item.
I created a custom ability from it, but when i give it to a unit to use, he doesn't get the AoE target and you cant cast the spell.. when you click the button , nothing happens at all.
This is a big pain for me, and if anyone knows why this might be happening, please help!
(it has nothing to do with the targets allow... ive played with this and nothing changes)

If no one knows what to do i'll have to rework this spell with a lot of stupid triggers when it works so perfectly for sacraficial skull!!!
GRR! why cant things be easy!

Peace!

Edit: Ignore what I said before...infernal idea is better.

There's no need to use a trigger anyway, just give your dummy unit summoned by the infernal spell a blight placement ability that the undead buildings have. then just give the infernal spell no allowed targets, 0 damage 0 sec stun, and give it the same AoE as the blight placement ability has, so that you can seewhere the blight will be created before casting the spell.

Yup, units can have it to; I should have mentioned that I was speaking from experience, because that is the exact same way I did such a spell. Anyway, just remember Archimonde, he placed blight wherever he went...
