Hi all......I've been working feverishly to finish my navy seal WIP....and I've recently hit another snag. This time, however, it's with texture detail. Or rather, how to maintain it in the game at different zoom levels. I've noticed some of the better textures that people have posted have a lot of fine/intricate detail in them, and I was wondering how to maintain fidelity in my textures when zoomed out. On my guy any fine (i.e. tiny or detailed) textures turn yellow as I pan the camera around or zoom out even a little bit. I'm wondering what I can do to combat this. I read the art tools documentation but am still at a loss. Even for my largest texture (512x512) there are yellowing issues. Perhaps I simply can't paint in details that are 1 to 3 pixels in width as they simply disappear in-game. If anyone could give me some insite or a workaround that'd be great. Thanks....... |
