I'm making a map which is going to be kind of a trigger oriented rpg. i would like to have a very interactive environment and im willing to spend a lot of time on triggers for a lot of objects. i want it to be possible to just decide wether u want to pick something up when you are near it. what do u guys think would be a good way to do this. im not a great mapmaker so i might also need help with the triggers if your idea is complicated. |

Explain further the steps you want to be taken.... For instance, do you want a hero to walk near an item and have a box display "Would you like to pick up the <item name>?" .. do you want this for all items in the game or certain ones? Do you want items to be automatically acquired when they're near the hero (possibly with an option to toggle this functionality on/off)? Is your map single or multiplayer? |

well that is kind of my question. I'm not sure what the best way would be. any ideas?? another question. how do you make deep water in a map |

Umm.. I see no problem with the players having to right-click on items to pick them up (as in standard WC3). As for deep water, just select in the Terrain Palette's Cliff section. It's the one on the left of the bottom row.... |
