Need 100% Original Spell Ideas for a Pyromancer!

Please! I have hit a major spell makers block and can't think! The only requirement is that the spell must be 100% ORIGINAL. Thank you for any ideas you might contribute.

Might need a custom graphic for the dog crap, though.

How bout explode a building above a units head? Building'd have to be a unit with a building model, but you could kaboom it and save yourself some trouble.

Unibombing's come to wc3... how sad.

Heres my ideas.

Inferno Wave: combusts and dashes foward leaving a trail of fire in his path and knocking enemies into the sky. modified impale.

Flame Aegis: Forms a sphereical fire shield around unit. increased armor and regen but unit cannot move/attack/cast spells. When enemy units near (250?) jets of flame from shield attack them.

Heart of Dragon: Summons a dragon of flames (not a summon spell) that burns enemies caught in/under/around it. After couple of seconds dragon turns into a flame nova ie a ring of fire that spreads out. maybe a ultimate.

Scorching Fields: area around pyromancer becomes hazy as in a heat wave and enemy units around have slow attack and movement. after time random flames appear. channeling spell.

Book of Fire: pyromancer tosses a red book at enemy which bursts into flames and also damages units around him. maybe a modified lightning shield.

Fires of Heaven: fire rains from the sky. not like rain of fire more like thin jets. units that get hit are stunned. modified starfall. ultimate

Flames of Hell: flames erupt from the ground rapidly. ultimate

Lava Plateau: lava slowly fissures from ground around pyromancer. steam effects as well. forms a matlike 'thing' around pyromancer. must channel. after mat is complete channeling is done and mat slowly diminishes. enemies on mat gain damage as well as ultra slow move speed

If the pyromancer is ranged unit:
Flame Touch: hands come on fire and switches to melee attack. Any unit he touches ignites (like breath of fire, flame strike). Maybe a modified metamorphosus. Also could have increased attack and/or splash damage.

All similarities are purely coincidental.


These are not original but they still rock, old school style :D
Power Geyser: pyromancer pounds ground and fire pillars come up in a line one after the other. Kudos to Terry Bogard

Raging Demon: pyromancer pounds ground and flames pillars come up around him. modified slam.

Whew that was long.

Fire Storm
By gathering up all the energy he can get, the Pyromancer can create a large cloud of heat, which rains fire down upon enemies.
Basicly, it makes some special effects(Doom buff maybe?) on the Pyromancer and the Pyromancer has to stand there channeling. After a few seconds, a large distortation effect appears(for a heat wave thingy) in the terrain a little above the targetted point, fireballs rain down at random places at the targetted point(easily done with flying seige units and triggers, if you know how that is)

Hows that?

Hard to find anything original with a hero that will, according to his name, mostly have damage spells...

This is an idea that I am using in my arena map, but, since you're so blocked, then what the heck, I'll share it with you. ;) The ability is a passive one that increases the damage of the attack of the hero AND his spells by 10/20/30%.

For the ultimate you could do something spectacular with the demon storm doodad effect.

Otherwise, can't think of anything other than damage-damage-damage spells...

you lookin for a spell for an RPG, AoS, Arena or somthing totally different?

i only ask, because RPG spells, can generally be a lot flashier and less lag concerning than the other two.

My suggestion:

Explosives: Pyromancer sits channeling, and 'bombs' (i suggest using phoenix eggs) appear around him and move toward a target. If they move more than X distance from the pyromancer, or reach their target, they explode, dealing whatever damage.

Thanks for all the replies, I like the demon storm idea. I have came up with 1 new spell. So I still need 3 more... and these spells are for an AoS.

Here are a few fire spell ideas.

Flame Serpent: Summons a few (One per level or so) fire serpents that move at random angles (say, between facing+25 and facing-25) forward from the caster, changing the angle now and then to make them move in a 'snake-ish' fashion. When a serpent spots an enemy, it moves up to it and suicides, setting the target on fire making it take damage over time. Serpents will not target units that already have the 'on fire' buff.

Fire Burst: Ignites the ground at the targetted point. The fire then spreads outward in a circle, and stops burning from the center out: Creating a 'rolling wave of fire' appearance.

i have some good ones, but i'm afraid i cant tell you becouse i'm using them for my fire guy in my eos... ^^~!

id go for book of fire and flame aegis as the best ones.

Transcendence
Speed Burst.

Kind of like Blink except a few modifications.
Make some kind of art. I particularly like Blademaster Special Art for speed moves. Also, make it so after they use Speed Burst, they get a....Speed Burst, until they slowly go back down to normal speed.
