Im really interested in modelling but I dont have the money to spend on 3DS Max, does anyone know of any freeware/shareware programs that allow you to edit models and where to get/download them Also does anyone know of any programs that will allow me to change the texture path in .mdx's so that i can make a copy of models and have a different skin on each? Any help would be appreciated |

For modeling, you could get Wings3d (free, but can't animate or export directly) or Milkshape. For changing the texture paths, use Yobguls' File Converter to convert the MDX to MDL, scroll down to the textures section, choose the the old texture path to what you want it to be, and convert back to MDX. |
