How to skin your own new model (in 3DSMax)?

I've made a new model/character in 3D Studio Max and converted it to a *.mdx file. And importing this file into WarCraft III Viewer 2 or the Importer in the World Editor works fine, however, my model has no skin >.<
This means that it's simply invisible when I run the map.
So, how do I skin my model, so that I can actually se it…?

Thanks in advance

Well select your model go to modifiers->>uv coordinates-->Uvwmap then go to modifiers->>uv coordinates-->Unwrap Uv and click edit now go to mapping and select flatten mapping
