I'm working on an RPG, and i want to have my heros lvl up at a good pace off of the units they kill. I dont wanna change the units just to make the experience pace better. in the game properties and stuff i see a million different hero experience catergories, but i dont have a clue what they all do. what is the best way to control how your heroes gain experience??? please give me as much detail as you can about how to do this. is this the best place to post this?? if theres a better spot for these kinds of questions plz tell me |

Anyway...it can also be done under the Trigger Editor. Hero - Set Experience Rate or something like that. |

yah like other ppl say u must go in the trigger editor selct hero xp rate then u can make like: at ... lvl hell get 150% of xp or just map initialization: make hero get 50% xp of future kills for example but before u must set in the unit editor how much xp the unit will give when killed THEN u can modify the xp rate. |

To set the Hero Experience required by level you must set in the advanced setting, game constant, Hero XP. If you want to control how many Exp need to grant level and you can control how many exp will give the units depending of the level and some other thing like that on experience. ^_^ :D |

The best way to control hero experience rates are with triggers. Such as, you can set it so that after a certain level, a character won't gain exp from killing this mob anymore. |

I prefer the Advanced Settings. |
