Well, I can make it higher than 512, but it doesn't make it go any faster. I need the units to move fast, otherwise my spell will look retarded. Thanks.

Lord Evilblobs
so you want a spell to make a unit move beyond 512 Right?

No, and Yes, The spell makes a unit, and he needs to be faster than 512, otherwise... well, it just looks stupid.

You cannot. While shift clicking aviods WorldEdit limits, it is not the same for hardcoded limits. In other words, 512 is the max speed before a unit causes trouble with pathing and other things. I suggest you make the effect of a unit moving fast using the Unit - Move Instantly function.

Yes, Quell is right

And ALOT of people have tried to break this limit, using everything from disabling pathing to HEX editing unit information.

Sure you can raise speed over 512.

The max is 522 ^_^

No spells or aura can increase movement speed to above 522. That is the game's inbuilt maximum speed.

Of course you can raise the limit via assembler/hex. But its not for nothing at 512 limited...

Yes, but that would only be good for modifications, and I think that most people look for an answer to use in standard maps. Also, the ability and usefullness of such decompiling has been questioned.
