Everyone always discusses the use of hidden casters when creating complex hero spells. I understand the concept but I am running into problems when i try to order my casters to actually use the abilities i give them on the targets. I was just wondering what the most effecient way of accomplishing this was? |

order - ability targeting point where point=targeted units location The ability you cast is what the spell is based off of. |

If your making the unit cast a SPELL then give it the ability Locust(Post 1.13) or Unknown(Aloc)(Pre-1.13), and make it have no model. This is accomplished by double clicking the model file, and there is a path line at the bottom, just highlight that and hit *space*. Then I would suggest having the spell have infinate range, no cooldown and no casting time. Just to get the instant effect. You can take instant advantage of the No Cooldown such as this spell I constructed. It uses 1 unit per point to cast a nova of fire. Check it out, it's perty cool. |
