How to only sell items to allies?

How do you do that? I seen it in some maps and really wanna know how to do it. Thought you made it with triggers so thats why I asked here

While i'm not very good on the subject wouldnt it be possible by using the race-specific shops in melee games?

As far as i know those only sell to your allies.

Give the shop to an allied player.
