Warhammer 40,000: Dawn Of War

I just bought the Monthly Issue of PCGAMER for the month of APRIL 2004 and saw the COVER STORY was about this game. I know nothing about this game, but as I saw screen plays It reminded me of StarCraft MArines, and WarCraft III Space Orcs. So I was thinking Hey that would be a kick ass map. Well here I am, wantiung to make this a map, but here the problems. I dont know the game that much...I guess it used to be a board game. If some one would be willing to explain it alittle more to me perhaps this will be afun game. SOme things i do know that interested me.. the techtree setup is based on ur number of units.. say u got 30 orcs, well ten u can build a lightvehicle. thats sounds cool idea for tech trees.

This is not a warhammer 40k forum maybe you should search on google or go to gamesworkshop.com?

BTW are you a modeller? If not it would be hard to make a wh40k map.

And the ones who look like space orcs are space orcs from wh40k...

The original game is in fact turn-based, however, the dawn of war game coming out is gonna be real-time. So Relax. Look I can't model or skin, but I can help you in importing and editing the map. I'm also a Warhammer fan, so I can help you out. I've already found models and skins that would help you.

Sounds good but only prob is this... uve planned nuthing out so there isnt much to start at. if ur going to make a WH40k map u NEED a modeler.
also id like to be in i can skin, trigger, bad at terrain, spells, learning to model (i can make a cube yay!), aim=chris4224
