Upside down models using mdl ?

Is there any way to easily make a model turn upside down using mdl editing ? Cause I thought this could be useful with some doodads (example : I'm in need of a ceiling lamp for a cinematic, and I'd really like to use the cristal generator model for it).

I have no experience with model editing, but could you maybe switch it by altering the axis? Or am I completely off here? :\

if there's a single bone to the model and no other effects, you could simply rotate that bone. It's possible in the mdl format if you can convert eulers to quaterions (search for both those terms in the search page for a link to a converter). If there's MORE than one bone, it might be more complicated. Anyone else want to jump in on how you'd do that with or without a modeling program?

There's indeed only one bone on my model (or so I suppose, since its only a basic doodad of a cristal), but I don't know very well the structure of bones. I'm gonna search if there is a good tutorial that explains it, if someone could help...
