ok, i know i might get flamed for this but whatever... i have followed every step in the skining Tuts, but i cannot load the skins in Photoshop...the ones i wanted, i saved, but they could only save to the format of .mdx and Photoshot does not recognise this extension...also...i think that i will have trouble converting it back from photoshop to the point where i can accually see it in the game...i think it has been like 3 days since i have tryed this, but it still wont work...i was also interested in it like 2 yrs ago, but i didnt understand anything....PLEZ HELP ME! |

wait, how did you get a skin to save as a model(.mdx)? Look with WC3Viewer and any paint program you can do anything. With WC3Viewer u extract the blp file and convert it to bmp. Customize it in PSP7 or whatever, save it as a bmp file and then use WC3Viewer to convert it back to blp. import and your done. What are you doing? |

ok....ill run through the exact processes.... 1 i open War3 Viewer 2 i open photoshop 3 i find the file in the treeview 4 add/subtract the meshes i want/dont want 5 under the current file tab...i click the Extrack .mdx 6 i save to where i want and thats it -from there....i cant open it in photoshop and it cant do anything else....help from step 4 on cause i think im doing the 5&6 wrong... |

K, Forgot what they all said. Open War3 veiwer. Find skin you want. right click and hit export (and convert to tga) button Then edit with photoshop. |
