Is it just my bad editor?

Before reading this understand that my we bugs like no other, at least i think so. It saves units from whatever map last opened when u create a new map, it crashes randomly, no error message.
With that said I've been having some really annoying problems with buffs/effects. For certain spells (blizzard, breath of fire, a few others) the buffs and effects remain unchanged when i make a custom ability, regardless of how i do it. The only way to get around is change the base ability, but then all other abilities based off that one, regardless of their buffs effects, will also be changed. This might not be such a big problem, but i'm working on a map with 100+ 100% custom abilities. I have about 50 now and i remember a spell based on blizzard working fine before the last patch. Anyways, has anyone encountered any problems like this? I'm on winxp and have no other unusual software.

Yep, that's what you get.

Anyways, it is not your editor. It is the fact all of Blizzard's fans wanted 1.13 so badly that they rushed it. You see what impatience gets you?

I seem to recall there being some SLK editing you can do to get rid of the effects, but I'm not positive.
