HELP ME WITH THE PATCH plz

guys i need help please help me to instal the patch i cant do this he`s telling me i need to insert the CD i inserted the CD and installed the patch (to work without the CD), and i tryed evrething, help me please :(

If you had the ORIGINAL CD you would'n have problems.

What do you mean "to work without the CD"?

I HAVE THE ORIGINAL CD! And when i instal the patch the game asks to put the CD into the CD-ROM drive :\ and the CD is in :\ what should i do?? and he is still asking and asking and asking :( and i tride everything!

Try putting another CD in there and see if it'll work.
If another CD works, then your WC3 CD is probably scratched.
If it doesn't work, then the ROM is probably broken.

No my CD-ROM is ok i check it my CD is ok too when i instal patch warcraft just dont want to work :(

Well I kind of had the same problem when I patched my game the CD-Rom flipped. However I heard rumours that blizzard inserted a program aginst people that mounts a cd image of the game cd to play the game in the 1.14 patch or was it the 1.13 i don't remember. The program seem to damage people's computers that used their real original cd instead of people that used mounts for inctance. I had a program that mounted cd's but the anti mount program(if there were one) didn't effect it but ever since I patched I had problems to start the game with the original cd. They had a thread about this not too long ago in the b.net forum I don't know but I beleves its closed now, one thing that I didn't try was to create an image of the disk and try it in my mount program don't know why I didn't do it maybe cause my cdr hardly could read my wc3 disk but if you can, try that first. oh and I had a dvd-rom too it stopped working compleatly after patching, quite anoying.

What I did was format partition were my OS was located on and reinstalled windows (it had start getting slow anyway...) and my WC3 worked just fine agian, if you are considering what I did I hope you got one separate partition for your OS and all other data on others partitions cause that saves alot of time.

One cool thing about WC3 is that the game only updates like 3 files, I think the Wc3Patch.mpq, war3.exe and I think it updates worldedit.exe aswell, I don't know if they update the *.dll files in their updates, anyway If you and a buddy want to play wc3 and you got diffrent vers try copying the these files not the wc3.mpq file nor the wc3x.mpq file becuase that's were the cd keys are located and you dont want anyone to have your cd keys. Copeing these files is like a compleatly safe way to patch your game so you don't get any programs blizzard adds in their patches.
