i asked this question once before and everyone said it's in the terrain palette. it isn't. I want water that a naga unit can swim in. not just the one thats lower down. |

There are only 2 levels of water. Nothing more. One is shallow water that a unit can walk in and the other is deep water in which a unit (everything that is not a ship) can't walk in. One idea I just thought of (not sure if it will work or not) is to create shallow water and then change the ground texture to make it look like deeper water. I could be wrong about the above but from my understanding, the above is what I currently know. |

Deep water is under terrain pallete, more specifically, under the cliffs tools. It's next to shallow water. Another way of making deep water is first creating shallow water, then using the lower tool to make the shallow water deeper. |

Naga units can swim in deep water, not just ships. Try placing a naga unit in deep water and you'll see them treading water, sort of... If your concerned about the water just looking like deep holes filled with water then use your ramp button to smooth out the way things look. I believe you had have make deep water first, then shallow water and use your ramp to make the shallow blend into the land. You can even blend the shallow water into the deep. Okay, these aren't the best screenshots, but they give you an idea of what I'm talking about. One with no ramps or shallow water and one with ramps and shallow water. |
