I want to add a unit ability (Ensnare) to a hero, but he keeps auto learning it; how can i change this in WorldEdit? i can't figure out what do change...

i set up all the button possitions and level reqs and such, i don't think it's anything like that, but I want him to need to use a skill point to get it first, rather than having it to start with

You need to convert it into a Hero ability. I don't have TFT so I'm not sure how to do this within the WE, but there's probably a checkbox somewhere.

Yes, in the object editor, under the abilities tab, when you select an ability on the left, then you will see a bunch of charateristics on the right (well, you know that, since you already modified ensnare to some extent) and one of them is "Hero Ability:" (true/false). Set it to "True".

yeb, that should do the trick... and if else did you set required level to 1? maybe that can couse trouble as well..

I already told you he keeps auto-learning it from the start of the game. I want the player to have to go into the Hero abilities section and use a skill point. I had already set Level req to 1, and made it a hero ability and all that (as I said, he already knows it, just knows it too soon).

The problem is i can't see the difference between it and the normal hero abilities that need skill point distribution. If someone has done it before, it'd probably be best if I trie dusing AIM to do this so there will be less confusion and forum spam.

But thank you for trying anyway. I just need to convey my problem more precisely I guess.

EDIT: OHH Sorry, I made a mistake; I never went back to my hero and move Ensnare from a normal ability to a hero ability, all that stuff I thought was wrong is done internally; but it works now. Thanks again!
