can anyone tell me where i can and cant place ramps, sometimes its easy to place them, then other times i have to keep clicking and draging for ages before it works |

yes i know what you mean they are crap..there is no real secret to placing them but the best way to places them is this: make the cliff in a strait line then you can place the ramp |

We hear you. Ramps are a pain in the arse, but heres little pointers. Start in the middle of a cliff and work your way out to both sides. Its harder to make two ramps come together then it is to just go from one side to the other. If you want more natural ramps that are at angles instead of stright ones, its easier to curve them concave instead of convex. Bad part about doing ramps at angles is some of the land gets contorted at sharp angles. All you can do is pound them out with a little raise and lower terrain tool. |

One good way to make ramps work for you is to start with a strait cliff. Make the strait edge longer that you plan on making the ramp. Once you've placed the ramp work the cliff corners back toward the ramp. This works in many ways and gives you 99% more control. |
