Recently I've been up to my ears in site code at the moment trying to get things up and running again. So I took a quick break yesterday to throw down my gauntlet in the new terrain challenge forum. I received more replies than I expected and it got me to thinking... Who here would see a 'Terrain Challenge Registration' as a useful addition to the site? This registration would allow you to submit certain preferences/challenge prerequisites (what map types you like, how long for a challenge etc.) and add you to a list. You would be able to upload one screenshot of what you think is your best work and a running counter of your win/loss ratio would be displayed. All these details could then be displayed in a list page where other users could browse your 'stats' and send you a PM to negotiate a challenge. This is simply a brainstorming query...I haven't actually asked Phoenix, Beam or Cubasis about this yet, but I'm sure they'll notice eventually and shoot me if they don't like it. So vote, yay or nay, while I'm still alive :P. ~kharma |

I voted bad because, i felt for it.... No seriosly I don't like contests in any form, and absulotely not World Editor competitions >_<. Go to battle.net and join the tournament is what i recomend ^^ Well, just my thoughts :) |

I like the idea. It will show off our work and let others view how well we do. It should also motivate us to work harder to make terrain. |
