No this doesnt have anything to do with dbz or anything but i want to know if its possible to have two heros use an ability at the same time and fuse or something..it may not be possible without variables or anything but if theres a pretty easy way please let me know ^_^

hum, that both heroes need to cast an ability could be a problem but i would just use a firebolt based spell and triggers for the rest,

make your edited firebolt ability to activate the trigger, make your fusion hero, place it somewhere on the map whit neutral passive owner,

now if a unit use fusion (the firebolt) change owner of the fusion hero to the player who cast fusion, and move it to the possition of the hero, also change owner of the 2 heroes to neutral passive and *hide* them
add some spezial effects and it looks like a fussion :D

to refusion use the same trick again , if its just 1 hero that can use the spell you wouldnt need any variables

You can just make an ability based on archer's munt hypogriph, however, you will probaby always get a lvl1 hero(s) out of the spell, so you need to store things like exp, abilities, and items in variables and give/learn them for the new heroe's every time the spell is cast.

Another problem: if a hero can have multiple names then you are not sure you will get the exact same hero out every time.
