reduce file size?

any ideas how i can reduce the file size of a mp3?
i want use "its my life" for a game but it need 1,28 mb, quality doesnt really matter couse ill play it whit 150% speed.
plz help :\

What is its bit rate? I think WC3 only allows a minimum of 128 - so it can't be reduced any lower.
There's not much else you can do, except actually shortening the wave itself in an editor (i.e. cutting some of it off, so to speak).
