Could someone possibly explain to me how to use Texporter in Max 4.2? For one thing, how do I create a map that contains every object on the model? Try as I might I can only select one mesh at a time, which is pretty useless. Thanks for any help. |

Just thought I'd clarify and bump, I need to know this badly. I'm running 3DS Max 4.2 (a legitimate copy) and using Texporter v3.4. Before I start working on a model, I'd like to know that I've got all the necessary skills. I can animate and I can model (to a certain degree), but giving my model a texture is more difficult than I thought. When using Texporter, It works like a dream for single meshes, so origionally I thought that I could only use one mesh on each map. But Blizzard models contain several meshes that point to the same texture, so that can't be right. What I need to know are as follows:
If anyone can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it, as I really need this info to do modelling. Also, sorry for bumping, but like I said, I really need to know, and I thought this might need more clarification. Thanks, 35263526 |
