Save them in mp3 format at least 128 kbit/sec. Then use the import manager and in the sound editor right click on them and set "use as sound" then you can use the transmission trigger and select your voice mp3, then transmission will last as long as the mp3 lasts.

I take it you mean *.wav files not *.waw. And it does work. I would also suggest using wav if your changing unit responses. Blizzard does that as well. This is cause mp3's have a slightly higher access time, wich could desync your unit replies.

Whenever I change unit responses (which has always been with other sounds from WC3) they never work. What do I have to do to get them to be used in-game?

Just overwrite the exsisting ones by making their path be the path to the normal responses. Map mpq > patch mpq > war3x mpq > war3 mpq. :)

So I have to reimport them? Alright, I'll do that. Thanks.
