Blight -> Eats Grass?

I'm having a problem with grass' reaction to blight in the editor. I'm designing terrain, and there is a large section of blight. Inside of this blight, I had a few patches of grass and a few other textures.

When I test the map in-game, the grass simply disappears. All that remains is dirt, vines, and grassy dirt. The blight simply eats up all of the grass, leaves, and lumpy grass.

Is there a way you can stop this from happening? Thanks in advance! :)
