Using Skins downloaded from WC3 Campaigns

I just wanna start by saying that I'm sorry if this is one of those odd self-repeating questions, but I couldn't find anything about it so I'll just have to repeat it one more time, if that is the case.

Now on to my probably-easily-fixable problem.

I've downloaded a few skins from this site. Namely The Legendary Mage RumaN, the Armored Human Demon Hunter, and the Avenger Weaver. And for some starnge reason, beyond me, I'm unable to get them to work in my map...

Now I have, actually, managed to import skins to my map, and get them to work. Sadly the site that I downloaded them from is down for the moment, so...

Anyways; the skins that I downloaded from that other site were in .mdx format, while the skins thhat I've downloaded from WC3 Campaigns have all been in .blp format - could this be why I'm not able to import them, and use them, in my map?

Oddly enough I was able to use the Icons that came with the Avenger Weaver, but not the skin itself. Even though I was able to use the 'skin' as an icon.... :\

Basically I'm stuck. I know that I've gotten the paths right, and I know that the skins work. 'cuz people have gotten them to work... but I can't seem to be able to get them to work... err... you reading me here?

Could the fact that their not .mdx files have something to do with it, or is it just my incompetence?

.mdx is not a skin, its the model of the unit, if you just want use the skin import the .blp thats the skin, now double click on it in the import manager and change its path to what the skin normaly use,

Textures\herodemonhunter.blp thats all

So the path for the Avenger Weaver should, ofcourse, then be "Textures\BloodElf-SpellThief.blp", as stated by the skinner. (Or is it "Textures\BloodElfSpellThief.blp"?). However... neither of those paths work... :(

Same with the others...

The Armored Human Demon Hunter should be "textures/herodemonhunter.blp", but alas...

It is soooo simple, yet I can't get it to work! Why, oh god, why!?

Yeah, I put up a / istead of a \ in the post, but it's \ in the map...

C, now;
Skin Path:Textures\HeroDemonHunter.blp
Unit Skin: Textures\HeroDemonHunter.mdl (It allways turns into .mdl)
I've placed it under "Art - Model File"

And that's just about it... it's supposed to be under "Art - Model File", right?

But... what the...? My demon hunter is suddently clad in a blue armour... (the 'real' demon hunter)

oh.... damn... it overrides the real skin...

So it's *not* supposed to be "Textures/HeroDemonHunter.blp", but "units\nightelf\HeroDemonHunter\HeroDemonHunter.mdl".......(?)

But.... then where did the other skins go? The spell breaker and the blood mage is still there... oh I'm confused right now...

import the skins (.blp's) whit the import manager and change the path of the .blp's in the import manager to the paths i told you, it overwrite the normal skin(dont forget to restart world editor after you change path or test the map)

see the diffrence beetween .blp and .mdl ?
