Sun Fall
Warcraft III:
Sun Fall

Prologue

Theses times of war have weakened Elvin kind, and has left them without hope and leadership. Their alliances have cost them more than they could have ever imagined, but hope shall soon return with the dawn. As the sun rises on the city of Ashenvale, the people gather to witness the ascension of their new lord and the dawning of a new day in the annals of their history. His name is Jarrod of the house of Suncrest and the fate of his people lies in the palm of his hand

Chapter 1

I stood in the entrance for a few moments letting my eyes wander at the intricate steel arch that only the greatest of my people have passed under. I could feel the history in the walls and I relished in it, for I knew that I was now a part of that. The council was awaiting my presence for me to address them as their new sovereign leader. I had purpose when I walked into the circular room, their eyes focused on me; my heart grew cold as I began to form my words for I knew the outcome of this meeting.

“Friends, I come before you as lord and leader. Our people suffer as do I. This world is not what it once was. We have become victims of a great plague, and do not speak of the legion.” I paused and bowed my head and with great sorrow and sense of responsibility I spoke the words that would bring death to so many. “I speak of the horde, Our Night Elf brethren that drove us from our ancestral home, but most of all I speak of Humanity. These beings are not our allies, they are what is wrong with this land and I shall send them all to the grave.”

My intuitions were correct the faces of the council were in confusion, some even in anger. None of them truly understood why this cleansing must come. With the raising of my fist the council doors thrust open, and as I left, my closet guard proceeded to set the room ablaze with a pure fire and barred the doors behind them. The council’s cries were only a small distraction as I walked out the ivory tower and moved toward what would be the rebirth of a great nation.
