Patch 1.03 f*cks up my AbilityStrings.txt's! Help me!

As you know, i'm working on the Dune campaign. I finally got almost all spells ready, but then patch 1.03 came out. It f*cked up all my AbilityStrings.txt (it doesn't display them anymore when i implement them in a map)! I tried to extract the new abilitystrings.txt's from the war3patch.mpq and modified them so that they were in their original state, and then implemented them in my map again (not the mpq) and it still doesn't work! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! Please help me and tell me how to get my ability names/tips correct again!

:nono: same happened to me.... so much for my "Break Through" mod which was gonna show everyone a thing or two about whos the boss..... for now im just gonna give up on map making until Blizzard makes it easier.....damnit and it was so hype too.... now it looks newbie:nono:

maybe eventually blizzard will make all that stuff editable in the WE, all that [race]abilitystrings and stuff, aswell as the SLK stuff too...... awell... for now i'll just toss some SLK files into my Units folder, and try to do some stupid things like making items that are units..... that ofcourse wont work, but i got nothin better to do

Blizzard just strook a fatal blow to the wc3 modding community. I'm askin any admin here, please send a mail to blizzard on behalf of all the wc3campaigns visitors that they want a new patch that will bring ability editing back!

It also f**ked up my Xtreme TD map and Quests Open RPG... All the txt files messed... and the ancestrial guardian is messed, not to mension the RoK doesnt work with 1.03. Dumb move blizzard..:nono:

This patch is a blessing in disguise. The patch made us and Blizzard realize the boot order for files, and they're going to try and fix it.

aye, check the news post, comment 2, from berry2k. There is link to blizzard forums about a post that there MIGHT be a fix to the new load order

Maybe you have to do something with the abilitymeta data now that its there. Or maybe you can just wait, since the spells will be alot easier once the next patch comes out. And if you can't wait that long, then too bad. Most likey you will have to.

I actually look forward to the ability to make my own spells/skills. There is probably no way I could make my Red Alert 2 mod if I couldn't make my own spells, like the gi's deploy and other stuff like that. I don't mind the extra wait, it gives me more time to finish the models for it.

Ok, actually I have found a way to solve the problem about
(race)abilityfunc.txt/(race)abilitystrings.txt's patching. We can not patch
these files because war3patch.mpq has included them. But we can use the
other files excluded by war3patch.mpq. e.g. CommonAbilityStrings.txt /
CommonAbilityFuncs.txt.
So the solutions is: adding the items which exist in
<race>AbilityFunc.txt / <race>AbilityStrings.txt to CommonAbilityStrings.txt /
CommonAbilityFuncs.txt. It can work well.
