Preview questions

I have to questions about previewing models. First, how do I get the skins to show up on a model I'm working with in 3dsmax? When I load the example models from the Art Tools they have their skins in place while editing. How do I get this to work?

Second, how do I create an animated preview of a model? (Like showing off the model's stand animation on a black background)

Thanks in advance,

My preview is set to the default settings and I see the model. My guess is you did something wrong when you assigned your material (I believe you have to set it to a WC3 type or something, check the art tools documentation), or you just gave your model a color, and no actual skin.

No, I'm quite sure it has a skin. (When I view it in game or in the Warcraft previewer, it has one) I want the four views to have them, or at least the perspective one.

As for my animated preview thing, just to clarify, how do I do with one of my models like below?

just click on the blue and white checkered cube toward the top of the material editor. That will show you the skin in the viewports. I'd attach an image but I'm not sure how, it seems to want a URL and not something off my harddrive.
