How do I get past the protection devices?

I kinda wanted to look at triggers for certain maps, but they are all protected. How do I get around this?

Why do you think are they protected !?!
If you have problems with trigger or want to know how a certain trigger can be done, ask in the forums!

Unportectors can't recover the triggers anyway.
So unless know JASS unprotecting would be no use.

Of course one could write a program to recover the triggers as well - but guess what!
Nobody who would be able will do that.

Why should you want to look at it? Thats why the map protections were done! So your kind of guys couldnt change the map!

actually i have a program that converts JASS into GUI... of course it uses up rediculos amounts of temp memory so i cant have anything else running and i have to do a whole bunch of re-organising, but it DOES work.

Mind u, if the creator protected the map, then he has every right to keep you out of it, ask the creator, dont try to steal his work. I only use the JASS - GUI if i accidentally screw something up with my protection.

why would i bother hacking your computer? Hacking is hard work (unless you get lucky) i spend most of my time screwing around with vertual computers, hacking other peoples computers could get me into trouble.

Use unproteqtor. If it doesn't work, uncheck the "restore GUI triggers" option. Good luck ungarbling the JASS (it is likely corrupted from the protection.)

True. But you'd have to at least have a basic knowledge of JASS to make anything out of them. I'm afraid that you can't get the GUI triggers back, although if you want to have a crack at JASS, you'll be able to do alot more than just read triggers from protected maps.

the most recent version DOES and can restore gui triggers. some maps you have to turn off the GUI restore and other maps are so protected unproteqtor doesnt work

i got tob open with it, just couldnt save it cause the jass triggers were corrupted.
