For unknown reason, a lot of doodad are misplaced or removed when playing ingame. You remember how I did my wall for my castle? Well all the longer part of it (theres the round wall and the longer one) doesnt show up ingame. X=500 Y=175 Z=250 The round one are 250x250 and we can see em ingame. Also, half the table in my city disapear for even weirder reason. They are all the same size so what could make them disapear? I dont know what is causing this. Is there a limit for the axis or what? Is there a limit of doodad that can be show ingame? Im lost:( |

I may not know much but i think it MAY deal with your gameplay and video options (doubt it), either that or it MAY be the limit (doubt it) of the map these complicated things happen where one thing approves something while another trigger(or object) cancels it causing simltaneous errors that maybe solved by some weird thing (doubt it) but arent those round walls just the reskinned sunken pillar? if so then it shouldnt have a problem... |

The round and the longer are the same doodad, pillar. I will take screenshot the next time I try the map. |

I remember someone asking about this in Map Dev forum, so it might be best to ask around there, because I have no clue. All my maps aren't for game use sooo.... |

Dark, I couldn't find a thread either, but you'd have better luck asking there than asking here. My knowledge fails beyond the object editor. |

Perhaps they have interferring collision sizes? I don't even think that should matter, though, but perhaps it's worth a try? (lowering them) |

I will try putting the pathing to mushrom. At first the pathing was to mushrom, I placed the doodad, then I set the pathing to ashenvale tree. I put pathing blocker where there was hole. I guess its may be the problem. Beam, you got moderation of this forum? Just move the thread to Map development. (The moderation tool are somewhere in the top of the thread now) |

Same here. Everytime I use the page and home and end keys to make things taller or smaller or whatever and then try to get it in game it reverts back to normal and then I have to redo the whole thing. At least I think thats what your talking about. |
| 03-20-2004, 02:41 PM | #14 |
yes thats exactly what im talking about..how do i make it so they dont revert? |
