Aura icons not showing up

I gave a cold-based hero a map i'm making the slow aura. I customized the target effects and everything to where the units look convinceably slowed by frost, but the spell does not show up in the hero's spell screen as all other auras like Endurance and Brilliance do. It has no icon or anything. Is there any way to add an icon to the spell screen? I can learn the spell fine and it's effects show up, but the icon is not there and i would really like it to be...

you must be doing something wrong, but i can't tell what

give more depth

what i would do for a simple spell like that is make endurance aura have negative effects, and make it affect only the enemy team

Make sure your Button positions on the Ability Editor for "x" and "y" correspond to where u want the icon.
IMO "y" should = 2 and "x" should equal 0 to 3.
Hope this helps.

P.S. Make sure your buttons dont overlap. Ive made this mistake countless times. ^_^

Using endurance aura was my original plan, but the editor will not allow me to use negative values for my aura. I think the cause of the problem is that the slow aura does not naturally have an icon that shows up like other auras do. Is there some way to use negative values for a spell that i am unaware of?

Just make some dummy endurance aura, that does nothing. Then go to the values in the Gameplay Constants or some 'thing' in that genre and change the endurance or brillance icon to what you want.

The editor should allow you to use negative values for that, or do you mean it lets you use them but it just doesnt work? Either way it should work, check if under file->prefernces you have allow negative values checked.

I checked the negative values option and it works fine now. Thank you for the help!

ahhh... yes, and now i definately feel like a moron. :o It's cool, thanks anyways for the help. It always seems like i can figure out the really complicated stuff on my own but the little simple things i tend to make way harder than they are.
