"Warcraft Styled" Samus: Final Model

Alright, I'm not here to request any animation/skinning or any other bs that u mods are pissed off at....im just trying to show how my model came out in a warcraft type perspective....comments/suggestions needed

btw: i will be animating this by tomorrow if there are no further comments

lol, haha funny, just cause i didnt make a skin, doesn't mean i wont...this is just WIP

btw: i've encountered a problem...i exported this as a .3ds file and tried importing it into 3dsmax...however the file never shows up
could it be the way i saved the file? plz help

I Will skin that as soon as someone tells me how to work out the mapping in 3dsmax....
btw: the mesh i imported into 3dsmax is 1267 while the original one i posted as a pic was like 600....doesnt really matter...just that i really need a tut on mapping/textures

nonono, tyraxor, for this model, i am going to animate....later, i will put up a poll on which one should be the one for my upcoming campaign

btw: it will be a long time b4 i animate if i dont get a tut soon about texturing, cause i only have 8 days left w/ 3dsmax....
if only someone could give a tut on mapping....

btw2: what ever happened to the suggestions?

Wow, azn, you must have a million samus threads ;). The model looks nice, even if its hi-poly, since I'm sure there wont be a map where ten copies of Samus are going to be running around blasting people. Though, the left arm looks extremely strange. You need to fix it and make it a box rectangle, not a triangle.

sry if ur gonna call this spamming but im not requesting...much...just comments and currently, im looking for a tut on texturing w/ 3dsmax "4"

u think u no where i can find these?
just wondering if other ppl who've done this b4 might help out....

That is absolutely awsome. I can't wait till this model is finished. I'm thinking the best missile animation will be the Sham/Warlock/Farseer Lightning ball and the archer sound set comes to mind...succubus might work..but it doens't suit Samus' persona...ooo I'm excited :)
