How to cover PART of the minimap with an image

I saw (and have this map still) a version of enfos TS which has an image in the middle of the minimap.
can anyone walk me through how i could do the same thing?
since i know how to create an image to cover the whole minimap, but i want it only to cover part of it.

please someone help me with this..i realllllly would like to know how to do this.

I suppose you can make a picture in the center and alpha out the sides you don't want.

Theres a file in the map that you must replace. Make the changes in photoshop or paintshop pro or even paint.

If it hasn't changed from RoC, which it probably hasn't, the file should be war3mapMap.tga. I haven't tried this for a very long time, but it should work. This replaces the actual map image in the minimap so it will be overwritten when you save (worldedit changes the image to the current terrain).

So, just load it in through worldedit and it should work. This could very well be wrong but it's how I remember doing it.
