"Holy ****!" - My friend This game will scare the **** out of you. Yes, it's a game that will never be completed, but it'll still be fun. The main character, Alexei, stole a pirate ship and used it as a party ship (for friends to come and have fun :\). The "friends" kicked him out because they think he's too bossy, and what a coincidence, he landed on the Island of Goranda, named after Goranda de Champlain, the owner. Little do Alexei knows that the island has a haunted castle, and he knew that his friends won't make it alive sailing around this island. Going unarmed, he enters the castle, to be experienced with puzzles beyond his little dirty mind! ----------------------------------------------------- This game is plain scary and hard, trust me. You'll never know when a ghost will hit you, or the lights will be turned off. One wrong move on a puzzle, and you're going to be deteriorated by ghosts! You are unarmed, and is very vulnerable to attacks. What more can you suffer? This is NOT normal hack-n-slash. Bosses in this game require different strategies. Of course, you are unarmed until later in the game, so don't even think about killing the ghosts with bare weapons. The biggest thing that can determine this game to be pansy or scary are the cameras. Imagine walking in a hallway, and then you see a ghost on the other side. As you walk towards there, the camera changes, and the ghost is gone. If anyone is familiar to Fatal Frame, yes, the cameras are like that. LOL, let's just hope it's going to be finished, unlike my other 839298523985 maps. Screenshots later, comments now ^_^ |

Sounds intresting, but what´s that "poof, zip" in ur sg about? Anyway, it sounds like a single player map, is it? Also, it´ll take a lot to get someone scared with the units wc3 has to offer... Good luck to you. :D |

Yes, the main character's a wuss ^_^ I need to revamp some terrain. There seems to be an error and it would be some time before I show some screenshots. BTW: It's singleplayer. |

Well it sounds great, I cant wait and hope you can finish it :) Making Wc3 Maps scary... well just isnt quite possible Ill wait patiently for Screenies :D |

The screenshots won't show anything of the game because: a) The music makes a huge difference. b) Ghosts flash VERY fast. One of them was the lights going off, then the ghost appears after the lights back on. A second later, the lights off again, and the ghost disappears. c) I have to skip the screenshots for now. Little cousins at my house... It doesn't mean I won't put up screenshots. I'll just put up some terrain shots and the boss. |

hahah sounds fun, always wanted to make a make like that but fully integrating the cameras without the player feeling like they lost control is ALOT of work in my opinion. |

UPDATE: I was revamping the terrain completely. It looks amazing! I still can't post screenshots 'cause unlike my other projects (that was never completed), I will do the TRIGGERS more than the TERRAIN. This is something I applied. Alexei will have 3 stats to replace Strength, Agility, and Intelligence. These are: Endurance: Every point will increase his HP by 1 (he starts with 3 HP) With 1 HP, you will be able to survive another hit from ghost attacks. Dexterity: Some obstacles require a different Dexterity level to pass (ex. Ladders, Climbing, Swimming, etc.) It is always better to get Dexterity because this allows short-cuts. Movement: With every point, Alexei's speed increases by 10. Some obstacles will be much easier if his movement was faster. Alexei will have a variety of masteries in the game. This includes: Torch: It's a basic skill that is learnt at the beginning. With this skill, when Alexei reaches a SAFELY PLACED fire, he can make a torch, allowing uses with fire. He can only carry one at a time. ALL TORCHES WILL DIE OUT WHEN TOUCHED BY WATER! Rest: It is enabled when you reach a place with water. With this skill, you can rest for 15 seconds (real-time) to completely heal. |

The screenshot shows that Alexei is about to use his torch to explode those explosives. BTW: Icon is "Torch", which allows your character to hold torches. |

I have a question: what will the cameras be like? Locked to the character, normal war3 view, or something else? I once played a map that sounds sorta like this, where you had to solve puzzles and such. The cameras were like the ones in resident evil games, or alone in the dark, being still, and changing to a new one when you entered a new area. It would be cool if you used something like that, and would probably add to the "scary" atmosphere. |
