Linking to an attachment for avatar...?

With the new attachment system, I can't seem to get the Control Panel to accept a link to an attachment for my avatar... And the uploading isn't online yet. Anyone know a way to use an attached pic as an avatar?

btw the picture is 100x100 pixels, 8 kB, and its URL is
"http://www.wc3campaigns.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=29235"

And it's no big deal really... I can always wait for uploading to come on-line. So to speak.

Try using a different case for the file/extension maybe. If you are using lower-case, try upper. Not sure what your specific problem is; others seem to be working fine, so you must be doing something wrong.

I got it too work. I uploaded a Profile picture from my CPU and used that URL for my ava!!! It works, awesome!

Sorry to resurrect this old thread... but, as you can see... still no custom avatar.

The site lets me upload; it lets me get the URL of the image. It even lets me use the image as my profile picture. But nothing I do will make the image show up as my avatar!

Tried uppercase, lowercase, tried shortening the name to 8 chars and a 3 char extension, tried using the URL from my profile picture.... I've re-uploaded the image about 5 times now, its new URL is http://www.wc3campaigns.com/attachme...chmentid=31033

You can even see it in this post below; it's working fine.

I really think it's something wrong with the site, or with my account... But I don't know what I can do about it. Anybody?
